BAP 2225 We Agree Between Us: The sixth and final workshop of the Peer Mediation for Young People project was held at Ibn Haldun University Campus and was completed with great participation. The workshop was attended by many students aiming to strengthen communication among young people, resolve conflicts and improve their mediation skills.
The main speakers of the workshop were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bozkurt Gümrükçüoğlu and Av. Arb. Aliye Terzi Yılmaz, who are experienced names. In the last training session, the participants listened to the theoretical foundations and practical applications of the mediation process. After providing the participants with a rich theoretical foundation, the training moved on to the practical part, which was carried out under the guidance of the lecturers.
During the practical phase, students had the opportunity to experience a real mediation process by taking on the roles assigned to them. In this way, they had the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and improve their communication skills. At the end of the workshop, students who successfully completed the mediation training were entitled to become mediators on campus and proudly took the oath of mediation.
