At this symposium, organized through the cooperation of the Mediation Department of the General Directorate of Legal Affairs, the Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center (UÇAM), and the Faculty of Law of Ibn Haldun University, the most recent developments in mediation law were examined comprehensively across twelve sessions. Held on 24–25 May 2024, the event constituted a continuation of the first symposium organized on 14 November 2020 and aimed to deepen both academic and practice-oriented discussions in the field of mediation. Within this framework, a total of 29 scholarly papers, expected to have a significant impact on the legal community, were presented.
This publication provides an in-depth evaluation of the existing legal framework while also offering proposals from a de lege ferenda perspective. Serving as an important reference source for academics and practitioners specializing in mediation, arbitration, and conciliation, the work systematically addresses current developments and potential solutions in the field of alternative dispute resolution.
