"Mediation and Arbitration Information Seminar for Lawyers" was held on 8 February 2024 within the scope of the "Project on the Development of Alternative Dispute Resolution in Turkey" carried out in cooperation with the European Union, the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Justice.
The seminar was attended by Prof. Dr. Ali Yeşilırmak, Director of the Centre, Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Eda Manav Özdemir, Member of the Advisory Board, and Research Assistant. Assist. Ömer Faruk Kafalı spoke at the arbitration session held in the afternoon.
After Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Eda Manav Özdemir talked about arbitration and its importance, Prof. Dr. Yeşilırmak gave information about the arbitration procedure. Assoc. Assist. Prof. Kafalı explained the arbitral awards in arbitration proceedings, the differences between the awards and what they mean in practice.
