The event titled “Arbitrability and the Formation and Validity of Arbitration Agreements in Light of Recent Judicial Decisions” was successfully organized on December 18, 2024, in collaboration between Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Practice and Research Center (UÇAM) and Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University International Arbitration Practice and Research Center (AYBU UTAUM).
The opening speeches were delivered by Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bozkurt GÜMRÜKÇÜOĞLU, Director of Ibn Haldun University UÇAM; Prof. Dr. Neslihan Karataş DURMUŞ, Dean of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law; and Prof. Dr. Şükrü YILDIZ, Dean of Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law. The opening remarks emphasized the significant role of arbitration in the judicial system and the importance of recent developments in the field.
The moderator of the event was Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Eda MANAV ÖZDEMİR, Head of the Legal Affairs and Legislation Department at the Presidential Administrative Affairs Directorate.
