The 2nd Ankara Arbitration Day was held with wide participation.

The 2nd Ankara Arbitration Day, organized in collaboration with the Turkish Arbitration Academy, Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University International Arbitration Application and Research Center, and Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center, was held on May 14, 2026, in the Ankara Chamber of Commerce Assembly Hall.

The program, which addressed current and practical issues of arbitration law, was attended by a wide range of judicial officials, academics, lawyers, and practitioners working in the field of arbitration.

Three sessions were held as part of the program. The first session addressed corporate law disputes and the issue of arbitrability, the second session discussed current debates on arbitration procedure, and the third session dealt with the independence and impartiality of arbitrators and conflicts of interest. In these sessions, the theoretical aspects of arbitration law and the problems encountered in practice were evaluated together, and contributions were made from different perspectives.

As Ibn Haldun University's Dispute Resolution Center (UÇAM), we are pleased to be among the stakeholders of this program, which contributes to strengthening institutional cooperation in the field of arbitration, increasing interaction between academia and practice, and developing current discussions on alternative dispute resolution methods.

We would like to thank all the stakeholder institutions, session chairs, speakers, and all the guests who contributed to the program with their participation.
