The arbitration law certificate program, jointly organized by the Turkish Academy of Justice Law Research Center and the Turkish Arbitration Academy, was held on April 1-2, 2026, at the Turkish Academy of Justice campus.

Two members from the Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center (UÇAM) participated in the program. UÇAM Board Member Prof. Dr. Ali Yeşilırmak and UÇAM Deputy Director Dr. Ömer Faruk Kafalı provided comprehensive training on arbitration law to the participants throughout the two-day program. The training, which integrated their deep theoretical knowledge in international and national arbitration with practical applications, was followed with great interest by the participants.

The program covered topics such as the fundamental principles of arbitration proceedings, arbitration clauses and agreements, arbitrator selection, refusal, rights and obligations, and current developments in international arbitration.

The program, which appealed to a broad range of participants including law school students, trainee lawyers, freelance lawyers, and judges, made a significant contribution to enhancing the knowledge and skills of legal professionals of varying experience levels in arbitration law.

UÇAM continues to develop its research, education, and practice activities in the field of international dispute resolution through collaborations with domestic and international institutions.
