In collaboration with the Faculty of Law at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University and the Rize Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an information seminar titled "Arbitration as an Effective and Rapid Method of Dispute Resolution" was held for manufacturing and trading businesses operating in Rize.
The program began with an opening speech by Şaban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rize Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Following the opening, the academics who contributed to the seminar were invited to the podium.
In the seminar, moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Kıyak from Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University, Prof. Dr. Ali Yeşilırmak and Dr. Ömer Faruk Kafalı, faculty members from the Faculty of Law at İbn Haldun University, informed the participants about the functioning of the arbitration mechanism, its advantages, and the solutions it offers in commercial disputes.
The seminar emphasized the importance of arbitration as a fast and effective alternative dispute resolution method, particularly suited to the needs of commercial life. The program concluded after answering participants' questions.
