A panel titled 'Contemporary Issues in International Investment Law' was held.
The panel titled “Contemporary Issues in International Investment Law,” organized in collaboration between Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center (UÇAM) and the Turkish Arbitration Academy, was held with the participation of distinguished speakers from academia, the public sector, and the legal practice.

The panel titled “Contemporary Issues in International Investment Law,” organized in collaboration between Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center (UÇAM) and the Turkish Arbitration Academy, was held with the participation of distinguished speakers from academia, the public sector, and the legal field.

The opening speeches of the program were given by Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bozkurt Gümrükçüoğlu, Vice Rector of Ibn Haldun University and Director of UÇAM, and Assoc. Dr. Eda Manav Özdemir, Head of Department at the General Directorate of Law and Legislation of the Presidency and Member of the Coordination Board of the Turkish Arbitration Academy. The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Ali Yeşilırmak, faculty member of the Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law and Member of the Coordination Board of the Turkish Arbitration Academy.

The panel session included Csaba M. Rusznak from Sovereign Arbitration Advisors (Washington, DC) and Dr. from Nyenrode Business University. Yulia Levashova MCIArb and Hasan Aslan Akpınar from the Ministry of Industry and Technology participated as speakers.

The event addressed current developments and debates in international investment law; the current state and future of investment protection, the Fair and Equitable Treatment standard, and Turkey's international investment agreements program were comprehensively evaluated.

The event was broadcast live on Turkish Arbitration Academy's YouTube channel.
