Family Mediation Association

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center (UÇAM) and the Family Mediation Association with the aim of contributing to the peaceful, effective, and sustainable resolution of family disputes. The protocol seeks to provide an institutional framework for academic, practice-oriented, and social initiatives carried out in the field of family mediation.

Within the scope of the signed cooperation protocol, the parties aim to bring together theoretical knowledge and practical experience in family mediation, support educational activities, encourage scientific research, and implement joint projects. In this context, it is envisaged that family disputes will be addressed through a multidisciplinary approach, taking into account legal, psychological, and social dimensions together.

Under the framework of the protocol, the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, training programs, and awareness-raising activities is planned, as well as the enhancement of knowledge and experience sharing among academics, practitioners, and students. In addition, the cooperation aims to support the development of qualified human resources in the field of family mediation and to contribute to the strengthening of professional and practical standards.

Through this collaboration, UÇAM and the Family Mediation Association aim to increase scientific output in the field of family mediation, contribute to practice-oriented studies, and promote the wider adoption of family-focused dispute resolution methods at the societal level. The protocol is expected to establish a long-term, sustainable, and development-oriented framework for cooperation between the parties.
