The "Future of Mediation III Symposium," organized by Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Center (UÇAM), Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law, General Directorate of Legal Affairs Mediation Department, and TÜBİTAK, will be held in person on Friday, April 17, 2026, and online on April 18-19, 2026.
The symposium will address topics such as current developments and transformative model proposals in family mediation, the institutional structure of mediation in the Turkic world, international mediation mechanisms such as the Singapore Convention and Med-Arb, application experiences in labor relations and health law, mandatory mediation in commercial and individual labor disputes, current issues in real estate and rental disputes, and the reflections of artificial intelligence on mediation processes. Bringing together academics and practitioners, the symposium aims to evaluate the latest developments in Turkish mediation law from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
Participants who attend the first day of our symposium, to be held on April 17, 2026 at the Başakşehir Campus, will receive a certificate of attendance.
