The sixth webinar in the "Family Mediation Series," organized by the Ibn Haldun University Conflict Resolution Application and Research Center (UÇAM), will be held online on March 24, 2026, under the title "Domestic Violence and Family Mediation."
The applicability and limitations of mediation in resolving family disputes, especially in cases of domestic violence, are among the intensely debated topics, both legally and ethically. This event will evaluate how mediation processes should be handled in cases of domestic violence, within the framework of national and international regulations and problems encountered in practice.
Attorney and Mediator Ayşe Dilek Ergüler will share her views on the evaluation of violence cases in family mediation, the limits of mediation, and her experiences in practice. The program will be moderated by Dr. Ömer Faruk Kafalı.
The event will take place online on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 2:30 PM and will be streamed live on youtube.com/ihuucam.
