The event titled “Arbitrability and the Establishment and Validity of Arbitration Agreements within the Framework of Recent Judicial Decisions”, which will be held on 18 December 2024 in cooperation with Ibn Haldun University and Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, aims to provide an important discussion platform in the field of arbitration law.
The event will start at 14:30 and will be broadcast live on Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center YouTube channel. The program, in which expert academics will take part as speakers, will discuss different dimensions of arbitration in the light of current judicial decisions.
The opening speeches will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bozkurt Gümrükçüoğlu, Director of Ibn Haldun University Dispute Resolution Application and Research Center, Prof. Dr. Neslihan Karataş Durmuş, Dean of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law, and Prof. Dr. Şükrü Yıldız, Dean of Ibn Haldun University Faculty of Law.
Among the speakers, Prof. Dr. Ersin Erdoğan, Dr. Assist. Prof. Dr. Ersin Erdoğan, Dr. Lecturer Cansu Korkmaz, Dr. Lecturer Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Kafalı and Prof. Dr. Ali Yeşilırmak will take part in the event. The event will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Eda Manav Özdemir, Head of Department of the General Directorate of Law and Legislation at the Presidency of Administrative Affairs.
